No interview waiver this time

I am a intern doctor currently in India ( age 22)
my b1/2 visa is expiring this sept 2024.
I had b1/2 US Visa since 2007-2012 —-> renewed it in dropbox 2014—2024.

I filled the ds160 form but found out that I am not getting an interview waiver since I was younger than 14years when I got the visa. Is that true ?

The Department of State holds the right to interview a visa applicant even if they qualify for an interview waiver. There is no hard and fast rule why they would call someone in vs. not. Either way, having a past history of visiting the US and obliging the visa rules works to your advantage.
