My mom had visitor visa expired around 2 years ago and I’m planning apply for B1/B2 for her again. I think the in-person Visa interview for the renewal will be waived of as the earlier visa expiration doesn’t exceed 48 months - which mean if a renewal is applied within 48 months of previous visa expiry, there is no interview but a dropbox will work.
Previously she had a B1/B2 Visa approved and expired 2 years ago. This time I’m applying in the same category.
Can someone please clarify? Thank you
